In hindsight, there really are not many better ways to do this than to start practicing the time tested ways of yoga.

To make the transition towards yoga easier for you, we are going to provide you with some insight on the most popularly practiced yoga poses, so you can better understand which methods or poses are most suitable for your lifestyle.

Mudra Yoga

Touch the tip of the index finger with that of the thumb to form the gyan mudra, a simple pose to relieve a lot of stress and increase concentration. Mudra is also referred to as the Yogic tranquilizer by many learned gurus.

Pranayam Yoga

Pranayam is also a very popular form of yoga. Deeply breathing in and out can do wonders to calm down the internal body and mind. It is a great stress buster and does a great deal in combating insomnia. It has a great effect on the nervous system as it reduces toxins from the body and regulates the blood supply to the brain. This results in lessened stress, tension and fatigue.

Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga yoga is a vigorous and fast form of yoga. It helps build flexibility, strength and concentration. When practicing this form of yoga the yogi will go through a set of predetermined of poses in a back to back way in order to push the body to its limits.

Hot Yoga

Hot yoga is a form of yoga that is practiced in a room that may be heated up to 37 degree Celsius. This intense heat can soothe the muscles and make yoga movements more effective in a number of ways. Excessive sweat can also help detoxify the body and give you an extra push towards healthy weight loss.

A few other yoga methods include Uttrapada asna, Sarvang Asna, Padmasana, Gomukh Asana, Vajra asana. The toughest of all yoga practices is often thought to be Sheershasana. In this form the practitioner is expected to balance him or herself completely upside down while meditating. It sounds even harder than it sounds, if that is possible.

In yoga, basically one learns three forms, the Mudras, as in the poses, then the Chakras and finally the Bandhas. The best part is that yoga is fun to learn, incredibly relaxing and at the same time will allow you to get rid of so many problems related to health and your mind. However, many beginner yogis end up giving up before they feel the true effects as they find yoga to be monotonous, boring and tough to learn. If you simply push through this and give yoga time to bring benefits into your life the journey will prove to be more than worth it.

Through yoga you can get rid of so many problems such as insomnia, obesity, heart disorders, and respiratory problems, in other words, you name it and yoga has the solution for your problem. It brings down your stress level and enhances powers of relaxation. It can also help provide your mind with a new impulse control. Yoga also cures injuries, internally and externally and can boost the strength of your immune system. For the beauty conscious yoga can also result in healthy glowing skin.
